Also worth checking out is Fiddy's "I Get Money (Billion dollar remix)", featuring the top three names on that list. "A lotta money on this record, man!"
I love this 50 line (quoted in the Forbes article): "They're trying to buy some Gucci/I'm trying to buy the mall."
How much of that is actually earnings from the music though?!
The Forbes article said rappers have much more diversified portfolios than other musicians. Success in hip hop is being a successful entrepreneur, not just selling music.
It said 50 made $100 million off his Vitamin Water.
hahaha very sweet.
"I just missed out, must've come in at 21 or 22."
its funny cos eminem made 50 cent and now 50 cent is making more.
eminem is on a break so that could be the reason.
he probably gets paid heaps in commission to.
i can't stand snoop dogg though.
I'm no fan of Snoop either.
Dre and Lil Jon are on the list too and they haven't done anything for ages but for me Common is the biggest surprise on the list. I would never have guessed he'd be even close to it.
